We will be travelling from 29 January to 9th of February(29-Oca-2012)
We picked mushrooms and oreganos from the fields, olives from our trees and prepared them, peeled all the citrus fruit we could find from our neighbors and made jams, preserves and juices and we are now ready for travelling. We will be on holidays, and be back on the 10th of February with a new energy. Details...

ERENLER SOFRASI

Erenler Sofrasi is a small restaurant with a panoramic view of the Aegean coast and surrounding mountains. It is located inside the sacred village of Yarbasan Taş Evleri (Stone Houses of Yarbasan), a housing project that recalls the architectural style of ancient Halicarnassus. The name of our restaurant derives from the Sufi tradition of being welcoming to all guests. Our menu is based on Mediterranean fusion to reflect our passion for fresh and mostly wild-grown vegetables, which we offer in many different versions and tastes.

For example, pumpkin, when in season, will be prepared in the Turkish style and served with walnuts as a sweet one day, while the next it will appear raw in a salad mixed with wild greens and herbs. The only constant in our cuisine is the extra-virgin local olive oil that graces all our dishes, including meat, fish and poultry.

We tirelessly research heirloom recipes and create new ones of our own to refresh our repertory. We serve our meals, laced with soft Jazz, in the Medieval ambience of Yarbasan Taş Evleri, so as to enchant and satisfy all lovers of fine food, excellent wine and the pursuit of delightful dining events.
